Library

The South Andros High School library is currently under construction, and will be opened to the school in the next few weeks. Though a few students plan on volunteering in the new facilities, the school is also searching for a resident librarian. Here is some information on the progress that is being made down at our library!

  •  Two brand new bookshelves have been made at the library, and there are plans to incorporate a third
  • The old linoleum on the student desks has been removed, and they have been sanded down and stained
  • The library sign has been re-painted, adding a flair to the area
  • The current stock of books have been organized and labeled; the school is currently looking for more books to add to their collection
Students from the University of Vermont, Lesley University, and the University of Connecticut have collaborated with South Andros High School on the creation of this library, see some pictures of the process below!
