Home of the Barracudas!

South Andros High School is located off Queens Highway in Kemps Bay and currently caters to approximately one-hundred fifty students, grades seven through twelve. Adolescents from all over South Andros -even as far North as Driggs Hill- study at this location, where in addition to academic studies they participate in various community activities. The Barracudas compete in both Basketball and Volleyball, and make an annual trip to Nassau to compete in a Junior Junkanoo competition. The school is also home to an innovative agricultural program that will soon include the island's first chicken hatchery.
